This paper discusses the history, status quo, advantages and development directions of offshore dual geophone submarine cable construction technology. Its emergence and development provide the technical means of obtaining high-quality seismic data for the shallow water and obstacle areas where seismic streamers can not be constructed. It has laid the necessary foundation for the high-precision completion of the exploration tasks of oil and gas and the development of geological tasks and the completion of oil and gas exploration monitoring tasks technical foundation.
