Based on this, this paper examines the settlements called “×× 格 ” from Pre-Qin to Han dynasties, pointing out that the settlement with its own name at least in the late Western Han Dynasty Has emerged, is a long-standing phenomenon, not the first “village” in the late Han and the Three Kingdoms. The existence of the settlement itself does not prove that the basic social structure of the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms Period had a substantive change.
