荒寒美学与中国电影的精神向度

作为中国传统美学中具有代表性和自觉性的范畴之一,荒寒美学在中国电影的视觉语言和文化隐喻中获得了持续的生命力.将荒寒美学视作观察、介入和影响中国电影的方法则可以发现,荒寒美学在物理空间、社会空间、诗意空间三个向度上营造了典型的孤绝美感.同时荒寒美学也对电影技术观念产生了影响,主要表现在以平远、固定和大景别相结合的镜语体系上.荒寒美学浸润下的中国电影通过塑造具有孤寂感的人物形象体现着遗世独立的不屈文人精神,并最终统一于一种内在于中国文化精神当中的、以视觉实践探讨人与历史关系、人与宇宙关系的大孤独的美学风格和精神境界.

作为中国电影民族化实践过程中的重要探索,电影“赋比兴”观念的提出无疑曾起到巨大的启发作用,尽管这一论述自身存在一些尚待完善之处,但在此基础进行深入探索确有必要.本文梳理了“赋比兴”的理论表述,认为不应仅将其视作纯粹的修辞话语使用,尤其是对“兴”的理解和解读要回到中国早期社会的历史文化语境中,以背后所隐含的原始比类思维作为切入点,挖掘这一审美概念所显露的暧昧性表意作用,将其延伸至电影研究中,才能捕获到中国电影及其他东方电影中区别于西方电影美学逻辑的独特影像思维.
本文以近期“新主流大片”中的主旋律影片为研究对象,探寻这类影片与传统戏曲的内在关联.第一,从剧作结构上而言,当下“新主流大片”的创作都在某种程度上深受传统戏曲的谋篇布局的章法的影响.第二,在历史表达上,传统戏曲对于“情”的高度强调也影响了“新主流大片”在历史叙述中的情感表达.第三,在美学风格表现中,刻画戏剧冲突时,“新主流大片”也承继了中国式戏剧冲突中对“情景”的描摹,以“情景”的移步换景来表现情绪的跌宕起伏.
中国有着历史悠久的艺术文化传统,在潜移默化中影响着我们的思想和行为方式,为中华民族的自强不息、繁荣发展提供了强大的动力.中国电影在发展过程中受到中国艺术文化传统影响较大,其丰富的内容、经验及美学特征都成为中国电影的素材源泉和吸收、借鉴、转化的对象.张艺谋是对中国艺术文化传统借鉴与转化较为出色的一名导演,尤其在其电影《英雄》与《影》中,有着对古典小说中说书者视角的借鉴,对诗词“赋比兴”与电影蒙太奇的巧妙结合,对传统绘画造型与表意及对意境追求的创造性运用.本文从这些角度入手,探究张艺谋电影中的民族色彩和对中国
