1959年度,中国科学院民族研究所和中央民族学院共同接受中华書局《辞海》編輯所委托,着手編写《辞海》修订本民族問題类詞目的釋文。一年多来,經过选詞,編写、討论,核对资料和修改等各个阶段,到目前为止,已完成了“民族問題理論和民族政策”、“中国民族史”、“中国民族”和“世界民族”四部分的釋文共1552条二稿的編写工作。为了更好地完成这項工作任务,民族研究所和中央民族学院共同组织了《辞海》民族問題类編写小组和办公室。 In 1959, CAS Institute of Ethnology and the Central Institute of Nationalities jointly accepted the commission of “Ci Hai” edited by Zhonghua Book Company and started to compile the explanatory text of the purpose of “Ci Hai” to revise the national issues.
