Financial institutions accounted for nearly 70% of the total new demand for office buildings in 2015, an increase of 6.9 percentage points over the same period of 2014. The gradual preferential policies of Qianhai and FTA put explosive growth in registered enterprises in Qianhai, In 2015, the area of Qianhai’s newly increased demand in Grade A offices accounted for 21.9% of the total. The top financial centers and the spillover of office demand of Qianhai businesses were the two key factors that led to the substantial increase in the proportion of financial companies of the year.
