霍韬晦先生是当代新儒家代表人物之一,他深知“知识儒学”的局限,儒学不死,必须向生命回归。“生命儒学”不仅是心性论或人生哲学,而是一方面具有时代针对性,一方面具有儒学精神根本普遍性的新的文化扭向,因此它表现为一种充满生命力的形态,它走出学院、走向社会、走向生活、回到生命自身,而使一切文化的开新立根有地。霍韬晦先生对当代儒学的扭向与创造至今已经二十年,取得了具体而令人瞩目的成果,回顾近现代以来儒学的发展史似乎并未见过,是否可为儒学的开新创造出新模式诚可注视。本文对此作出引介。
