本文从《计算机网络》课程双语教学实践入手,就专业课程双语教学的定位及教学过程中的一些探索谈谈自己的粗浅认识,以便更好地开展专业课程的双语教学。双语教学不同于双语教育。双语教育指的是用两种语言作为教学媒介语,从而使学生通过授课语言的运用来达到掌握两种语言的最终目标。双语教育的目的是学习、掌握语言,而双语教学的目标却不尽然。双语教学不是外语教学,而是学科教学。双语教学强调的是在非语言类学科中用外语进行教学,通过在非语言类学科知识的学习来更好的掌握外语,实际上是借助外语对本专业的课程学习更深一步。专业课程实施双语教学的基本目标是让学生掌握课程的专业知识,其次才是学生阅读英文专业资料和英文交流能力的提高。为此要根据学生实际情况、专业特点、课程内容,选择合适的双语教学授课方式,注重实效、循序渐进。
This article begins with the practice of bilingual teaching in “Computer Network” course, talks about its positioning in bilingual teaching of professional courses and some exploration in the teaching process so as to better understand the bilingual teaching of professional courses. Bilingual teaching is different from bilingual education. Bilingual education refers to the use of two languages as a medium of instruction so that students can achieve the ultimate goal of both languages through the use of instructional languages. The purpose of bilingual education is to learn and master the language, but the goal of bilingual education is not always true. Bilingual teaching is not a foreign language teaching, but subject teaching. Bilingual education emphasizes teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic disciplines. By mastering foreign languages in the learning of non-linguistic disciplines, bilingual teaching is actually taking a foreign language to take a deeper step in this specialized course. Professional Courses The basic goal of implementing bilingual education is to equip students with the professional knowledge of the courses, followed by the improvement of students’ ability to read English majors and English communication skills. To this end, according to the actual situation of students, professional characteristics, course content, choose the appropriate bilingual teaching methods, pay attention to practical results, step by step.
