西藏25万农牧民住进新居安居才能乐业,乐业才能发展。多年来,改善农牧民群众的住房条件一直都是我区各级党委、政府挂在心上的一件大事。今年年初,自治区党委认真贯彻党的十六届五中全会精神,紧密结合西藏实际,抓住“安居乐业”这个事关人民幸福、事关西藏发展稳定的大事,在已有的基础上全力抓好以游牧民定居、扶贫搬迁和农房改造为重点的农牧民安居工程建设,力争5年内让全区80％以上的农牧民住上安全适用的房屋,
250,000 Tibetans and herdsmen live in new homes to live in peace and contentment and enjoy their careers. Over the years, housing conditions for improving the masses of peasants and herdsmen have always been a major event for our party committees and governments at all levels in our heart. Earlier this year, the party committee of the autonomous region conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, closely integrated with the actual situation in Tibet and seized the important task of “living and working in peace and well being,” which concerns the happiness of the people and the development and stability in Tibet. In the past five years, more than 80% of the farmers and herdsmen living in the region will live in safe and affordable housing,
