The APAAP method was used to detect the changes of peripheral blood T cells and their subgroups in 60 patients with rectal cancer. The results showed that the number of CD+3 and CD+4 cells decreased in patients with rectal cancer; the levels of A and B in CD+8 cells did not change significantly; the patients in stage C increased; the ratio of CD+4/CD+8 decreased significantly. Radiation therapy reduced CD+3 and CD+8 cells; CD+4 cells did not change much. Radiation reduces cellular immune function, but it can also achieve local control of rectal cancer. At the same time, the ratio of CD+4/CD+8 imbalance is significantly improved compared with early-stage patients. In short, the ratio of T cells and their subpopulations, especially CD+4/CD+8, can accurately reflect the immune status of the body and have a certain guiding significance for the clinical course of tumors.
