古人对一些不明原因的疾病,常认为与痰有关。古籍有“怪病治痰”、“痰生百病”之载。考痰之出处,《景岳全书》说:“内经只有积饮之说,本无痰证之名”,《神农本草经》有“留饮痰澼”的记载。后汉张仲景开创了痰饮辨证的先河,其于《金匮要略》一书中有记载,不过其论详于饮而略于痰。《诸病源候论》将痰与饮分别立论,指出痰与饮同源而二歧,应是两证,故元、明以来大都沿用其说。清张景岳明确指出:“痰之与饮,名曰同
