我国于1990年1月派56名工程技术人员赴西非布基纳法索援建。该地接近赤道,气温波动在14～54℃,系疟疾高发区,死亡率高,我国援建人员工作在城郊,杂草丛生,环境卫生极差,蚊虫密度大,系冈比亚按蚊。在援建(1990年2月至1991年4月)期间,尽管对这56名人员采取了予防服药,个人防护和室内灭蚊等措施,但由于天气炎热,晚上多数人赤膊乘凉,仍然全部感染恶性疟发病,无死亡。现将情况报告如下:
