The one-axis write volume of the 19606 written by the Belgian National Library in Brussels, although not long, is of great relevance to the study of music history in the early 14th century. Based on the study of writing, musicology, imageology and archival materials, this paper reevaluates the origins and the years of writing in Brussels. The previous study on the origin of the volume is unclear, the identification of its age is speculation. It was speculated that the volume might have originally been a gift of admonition meant to the newly elected Dean Wenrekus de Pomerolou (term 1335-1342), to be cast in the spring of 1335 in Stavanger and Malmdi two brothers monastery (now in eastern Belgium). The insights in this article help to elucidate the complexity of the currently underdeveloped culture of the Meuse in the early 14th century and at the same time deepen our message about the repertoire of Brussels-based repertoire of The Legend of Forvoir in Paris To understanding. Because “Legend of Forville” uniquely combines texts, music and illustrations, the French capital of the late Middle Ages used royal politics for the dignitaries. The Brussels writings testified to the rapid acceptance of this musical symbolic discourse by the subregional centers of the then northwestern Europe and the ingenious adaptations of this discourse by local editors based on their own political and power struggles.
