本文报导了在4.2K 环境温度下工作的4.5~5GHz 参量放大器的实验结果。当 Ta=4.2K 时,测出参放的噪声温度为12K,这比 Tα=18K 时,低6K。结论是泵功率加热变容管,限制了参放噪声性能的改善。并讨论了采用更好的变容管进一步改善参放噪声特性的前景。
This paper reports the experimental results of a 4.5 ~ 5GHz parametric amplifier operating at 4.2K ambient temperature. When Ta = 4.2K, the measured noise temperature is 12K, which is 6K lower than Tα = 18K. The conclusion is that pump power heating varactors limits the improvement of parametric noise performance. And discusses the prospect of using better varactors to further improve the parametric noise characteristics.
