Equipment design standards The cooling load of a 26-meter passenger vehicle can be roughly calculated. In the early air-conditioned trains, the new sections created were individually considered and their respective cooling loads were estimated separately. Usually about 21 to 28 kW cooling load, usually based on the results of the calculation and then choose. The 26-meter buses that operate in the United States, Canada, and Mexico actually take 28 kilowatts as their standard. Table 1 generally shows the cooling capacity of several different types of vehicles that are typically operated in North America. The cooling load of a standard 26-meter passenger vehicle consists of the items shown in Table 2.
