朱子对教育最深刻的思考之一,是他对“小学”和“大学”的系统思考。朱子为蒙童编写了《小学》等一系列童蒙教材,又特意将《大学》从《礼记》中单独提选出来,列于四书之首;以至于“小学”与“大学”这两个名词概念,自朱子之后流行当时,影响后代。本文从三个方面来分析朱子的“小学”的教育思想,即朱子对“小学”的重视,朱子“小学”的内容,朱子“小学”对后世的影响,以及“小学”到“大学”思想的过渡;旨在为全面系统地理解朱子提供一个角度。
