介绍了单晶金刚石尖刀的几何参数设计、原材料选择、晶体定向、切割、开坯、装卡、粗磨、精磨和抛光等制备工艺，分析了晶体定向、装卡和研磨等工艺机理，并对制备的金刚石尖刀的刃口锋利度、圆弧半径以及整体状况进行了SEM检测。最后，对我国单晶金刚石尖刀制备技术的发展进行了评述与展望。
