外语学习具有人文性特征,这种人文性特征是由语言作为社会心理现象的本质决定的。与母语学习的人文性不同,外语学习在某种程度上是对异域文化的学习。借鉴心理学乔哈里窗理论,对外语学习对自文化的反哺作用进行探讨。外语学习的人文性不仅仅体现在为学习者打开一扇通向世界的窗口,更重要的是这扇窗可以帮助学习者加深对自文化的认识和觉察。以外语学习为媒介,学习者可以清晰地审视本民族文化,继而提高自身的人文修养。
Foreign language learning has the characteristics of humanity, which is determined by the essence of language as a social psychological phenomenon. Different from the humanistic nature of mother-tongue learning, foreign language learning is to a certain extent the study of exotic culture. Learning from the psychology of Qiaohali window theory, foreign language learning from the culture of the role of nurturing. The humanism of foreign language learning is not only reflected in opening a window to the world for learners, but more importantly, this window can help learners deepen their understanding and awareness of self-culture. Foreign language learning as a medium, learners can clearly examine the national culture, and thus improve their own cultural accomplishments.
