Use X-ray dynamic video. Computer image processing system was used to study the swallowing patterns of 33 normal adults (17 males and 16 females) and 29 adults with Angle Class III malformations (14 males and 15 females). The results showed that: (1) In patients with skeletal Class III malocclusion, the positions of tongue, hyoid bone and mandible were lower than those of the normal ones, and the degrees of separation of the lip and molars were greater. When swallowing the tip of the tongue in the lift back at the same time, forming a typical tongue swallow swallow type. Most patients with molars without occlusal contact, the upper and lower lips separated. (2) The abnormal swallowing type in adults with skeletal Class III malocclusion is an adaptive change to skeletal structure abnormalities, while the long-lasting anomalous swallowing type can change the structure of the alveolus so that the inclination of upper and lower incisors changes.
