The Verity Group V Lab (V Lab) of the United Kingdom introduced the new NXT panel loudspeaker for the first time in September 1996, in flagrant violation of the well-known wave equation and based on complex mathematical analysis using high-tech to achieve a flat panel distributed vibration. This flat, low-profile speaker can be mounted on an indoor wall or on laptop and multimedia computers for high-quality stereo or AV surround sound playback systems. It is estimated that it may in some cases gradually replace the traditional dynamic cone speakers. This new trend has aroused the concern of the audio community and the majority of fans in the world. This essay translates the interview reports published by ETI Magazine on this issue recently to readers.
