Zhaozhou Bridge, also known as Anji Bridge, is located in Zhaoxian County, Zhao County, Hebei Province, across the north-south bank of the river, because of the bridge body built entirely of stone, commonly known as “Dashiqiao.” Built in the year 595-560, Zhaozhou Bridge was designed and constructed by the famous craftsmen Li Chun in the Sui Dynasty. It has a history of about 1500 years. It is the earliest surviving stone arch bridge with the most complete preservation in today’s world.
