本文主要研究大学英语派生词缀教学法,通过归纳总结、比较分析等研究方法,得出英语前缀、后缀在词汇中分别起着不同的作用:前缀大都有实在意义,关系到词义的改变;后缀大部分都没有具体含义,有一定的抽象意义,后缀主要决定着词性的改变。教师在大学英语授课过程中,通过对前后缀的讲解,更容易使学生达到扩大词汇量的目的。
This paper mainly studies the derivative grammar of college English derivation. Through summarizing, comparative analysis and other research methods, the English prefix and the suffix play different roles respectively in the vocabulary. Most of the prefixes have real meaning, which is related to the change of word meaning. Some have no specific meaning, there is a certain degree of abstract meaning, the suffix mainly determines the part of speech changes. Teachers in college English teaching process, through the pre and post explanation, easier for students to achieve the purpose of expanding vocabulary.
