荆门市位于湖北省腹心地区,江汉平原西北部。境内地势西北高,东南低。西北部为秦岭南支的荆山余脉,东南部为湖滨平原地带。对这一地区的新石器时代文化面貌过去一直比较模糊,自1982年文物普查以来,发现了不少新石器时代遗址,其中大溪文化遗址10处,屈家岭文化遗址7处,龙山文化遗址15处(详见附表)。主要分布在汉水沿岸及城东南的滨湖地区(图一)。现将调查结果按文化序列进行介绍。 Jingmen City is located in the hinterland of Hubei Province, northwestern Jianghan Plain. The terrain northwest high, southeast low. The northwestern part of the Qinling Mountains branch of Jing, the southeast of the lake plains. The Neolithic culture in this area used to be rather vague in the past. Since the 1982 census of cultural relics, many Neolithic sites have been discovered, including 10 Daxi cultural sites, 7 Qujialing cultural sites, and Yongsan cultural sites 15 (see the schedule). Mainly located in the coast of Han River and southeast of the lake area (Figure 1). Now the survey results are introduced by cultural sequence.
