型腔模电火花加工的稳定性(以下简称“稳定性”)不但关系到加工是否能够正常进行,而且还直接影响型腔精度、生产率、光洁度和电极损耗等工艺指标,可以这样说:稳定性是电火花加工的根本保证和重要关键。然而稳定性并不是孤立存在的,它与电极对的材料、面积、形状、加工深度和工作液、排屑条件、电规准、液压头进给速度以及平动量的合理使用和分配等因素都有直接的关系,这些因素的任何一方面的处理不当,都将发生加工不稳定的现象。
