近年来,核磁共振在研究高聚物单体序列分布的基础上,提出了一个新的结构参数——数均序列长度,作为研究高聚物性能的一个基本变量。在无规共聚物的微观结构测定中,序列分布和数均序列长度能说明其结构特征,特别是在聚合物的组成、分子量及其分布比较接近的情况下,要说明共聚物之间性能的差异,单体序列分布和数均序列长度显得更为重要。所以,和分子量及其分布一样,序列分布和数均序列长度是研究无规共聚物性能的一个重要数据。
