背景材料： 《记者观察》是吉林人民广播电台《７３８早新闻》中一档以“新闻调查”定位的栏目，其前身是曾经荣获“首届中国新闻名专栏”的《７３８百姓热线》。２０００年初，为拓宽选题层面，增加报道深度，《７３８百姓热线》更名为《记者观察》，播出时间也由原来的三分钟，延长到五分钟。《记者观察》除继续保持原栏目“关注社会难点、热点，为农村听众服务”的风格和特点外，适时加大了“解惑释疑，传达政令”信息含量，并强化了“舆论引导，激浊扬清”的理性色彩。 该栏目从１９９７年１月开办至今，一直是吉林省台“十佳栏目”之一。栏目组的制作人、记者多次荣获省电台“十佳记者”的称号，这个栏目中播发的稿件也多在国家及省级广播新闻评选中获奖。２００１年８月，《记者观察》栏目再次当选“中国新闻名专栏”。
