保健食品的应用在我国有着悠久的历史,科学地使用具有保健功能的食药,以达到保持健康,延缓衰老的目的,不再仅仅是人类的良好愿望,已日益成为世界瞩目的研究课题,并逐渐变为现实。为寻溯我国古代保健食品的渊源,为在传统保健食药中探索出一条开发现代保健食品的途径,我们对我国现存最早的经典本草著作——《神农本草经》进行了保健功能的整理研究,筛选出有使用价值的、具有保健功能的食药130余种,占《神农本草经》全部食药的36%左右。书中所载食药的保健功能有数十种,笔者将其归纳、整理为5类,即:益气补精类、轻身延年类、养心益智类、综合美容类、其它保健功能类。并结合现代药理研究成果,筛选出部分有多项保健功能,并适宜于作为开发保健食品参考的食药。现分述如下:

There are dozens of health-care functions of the food medicines contained in the book. The author summarizes and classifies them into 5 categories, namely, Qi Qi Jing Jing, Qing Shen Yannian, Yang Xin Zhi Ji, comprehensive beauty, and other health functions. class. Combined with modern pharmacological research results, some health care functions have been screened out and are suitable for use as a reference for the development of health food products.
