在化学工业设备制造上,需要大量的高合金耐酸不锈钢板,而生产这类钢板却必须具有大量而又稀缺的金属镍、铬合金原料。为了节约镍、铬合金,降低化工设备的制造成本,人们采用它的代用品——复合钢板。复合钢板是用炭素钢和合金钢或其他金属,按照一定厚度比例通过特定生产工艺,把它们牢固而永久地结合为一体,成为一种新型钢板。它的特点是两面不同种类的金属或合金各自保持其原有的物理化学性能。复合钢板的基体材料为 3、15和12MX 等钢号,而其复层材料由171、183、496和X8CrMoTi17等耐酸,不锈钢制成。
