It is well known that platinum, chromium, copper-nickel sulfide ores and titanium deposits are associated with basic and ultrabasic intrusions. However, not every basic ultramafic rock body has metal mineralization. Often intrusive rocks of similar rock type, in some cases ore-bearing, and in other cases non-ore-bearing. And non-ore-bearing intrusive rocks apparently account for the majority. The reason is unclear at present because the main factors that control the generation of ore-bearing magma and the formation of magmatic deposits have not yet been completely ascertained. This article is based on the experimental results of sulphide and sulphide-silicate systems for the study of copper-nickel deposits for many years
