本文论述了2013年12月大学英语四级考试改革的基本情况,尤其是翻译部分的改革对大学英语教学的改变和影响。如何在现有的大学英语课堂增加开设中国文化课是本文研究的方向。帮助学生从知识型向能力型转变,在教学实践中培养学生的翻译能力和水平,使他们能在今后生活和工作的实践中得到应用,更为重要的是,在全球经济一体化的当今社会,学好英文不光是为了学好西方的先进思想和科学技术,作为当今的英语学习者,应具备用英语向世界展示中国和中国文化的能力。因此,提高学生跨文化交际能力体现在是否能用英文准确恰当地传达中华民族的传统和价值观,能否传承中国民族文化的精髓和博大精深,这是我们大学英语教学当前所面临的一个新问题。
This article discusses the basic situation of the reform of CET4 in December 2013, especially the change and influence of the translation part of the reform on CET. How to increase the opening of Chinese culture class in the existing college English classes is the direction of this paper. Help students to change from knowledge-based to ability-oriented, cultivate students’ translating ability and level in teaching practice so that they can be applied in the future life and work practice, and more importantly, in today’s society of global economic integration To learn English well is not only to learn advanced western ideas and science and technology. As today’s English learners, English should have the ability to show the world Chinese and Chinese culture in English. Therefore, improving students’ ability of intercultural communication is reflected in whether the traditional and values of Chinese nation can be correctly and properly conveyed in English and whether the essence and profoundness of Chinese national culture can be inherited. This is a new problem our college English teaching currently faces.
