电视艺术是用光影和色彩进行造型的艺术形式。一部成功的影视作品,它的色彩或基调是在开机拍摄之前就已经确定的。但如何实现预想的效果呢?不外乎两种途径——前期摄像师的把握和后期剪辑师的加工。在IT技术日新月异的今天,后期制作的手段空前强大,似乎已经无所不能,各种能够对视频素材进行色彩调整的软件也是层出不穷。因此,有些编导人员在拍摄阶段对色彩控制的要求降低了,即使画面的颜色或影调不理想,也不“为难”摄像,总是想反正还有后期呢。正是这种观念,使得摄像机在色彩控制方面的功能形同虚设。其实,摄像机上开发的这些功能绝对不是画蛇添足,通过对菜单的调整,可以使色彩更加饱和,层次更加丰富,甚至可以在保证色彩真实还原的基础上进行艺术化的创作。用好这些功能,不但能够减轻后期工作量、降低制作成本,而且能够使画面保持自然和细腻,不至于被观众日益“挑剔”的眼睛看出更多“加工”的痕迹。
