课前思考“方程的意义”一课,各版本教材大都是借助天平演示,呈现等式与方程,揭示概念——含有未知数的等式叫做方程。但是,最近有的老师认为方程不能仅仅停留在一个形式的概念上,借助天平来教学方程,是将“方程表示数量间的相等关系”的理解狭隘化,理由是天平揭示的是一种特殊的相等关系。那么,关于“方程的意义”一课的新探索,落脚点到底应该放在哪儿?笔者以为,对小学五年级的学生来说,探索“方程的意义”一课的落脚点可以放在概念的内涵与外延的
