本文通过对上海美专教育史料的钩沉与探寻,着重考察该校1912~1937年期间工艺图案教学的实际状况,以期探析我国早期设计教育的形成背景、教学宗旨、教学方式和课程设置等问题。同时,通过挖掘和整理上海美专工艺图案教学的历史文献资料,探讨上海美专工艺图案教学与我国近代“图案学”兴起的历史渊源,进而提供更多关于我国早期设计教育与图案研究的史料依据。这种钩沉与探寻是研究我国近代设计教育史的重要组成部分,对于“以史为鉴”深入认识我国早期设计教育诸多方面的问题,具有十分重要的历史价值。全文由六个部分组成,分别为上海美专的创办与图案教学的社会背景、上海美专办学机制的转变与图案科的设置、上海美专工艺图案科的招生方式、上海美专的师资实力与工艺图案科师资队伍的构成、上海美专工艺图案科的课程设置、上海美专图案教学与近代“图案学”的兴起。
This article focuses on the actual situation of the process pattern teaching during 1912 ~ 1937 in Shanghai by analyzing the historical materials of Shanghai American College of Education, in order to probe into the formation background, teaching purpose, teaching methods and curriculum setup of early design education in our country. At the same time, by digging and finishing the historical documents and materials of Shanghai MeiTou craft pattern teaching, this article explores the history origin of craft teaching of Shanghai meiTe art and the rise of modern “patternology” in China, and then provides more information about our country’s early design education and pattern research Historical basis. This kind of investigation and exploration is an important part of the study of the history of modern design education in our country. It is of great historical value for us to deeply understand the problems of early design education in our country.
