Subrahayam Chan-drasekhar can not be sure what to do next. One of his recent research efforts is the eight-year-long study of black holes. During his heart attack, made cardiopulmonary bypass surgery, finally survived. When he completed the work this spring (82 years), he was already 71 years old, almost double the age of the other peers. At this moment in life, most scientists retire or enjoy honorary titles - holding a position on the board, recollecting past events at awards receptions, mentoring graduate students, pondering over a few remaining issues to entertain. Such academic activities are inconceivable for Chandrasekhar.
