Objective To investigate the changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets in neonates with infectious diseases and to evaluate the immune function of neonates with severe infections. Methods Forty - seven newborns with infectious diseases during the perinatal period were selected as research objects. Twenty - two normal full - term infants born at the same period were selected as the control group to detect CD3 +, CD4 +, CD8 +, CD4 + / CD8 +, CD19 + and CD16 + CD56 +. Results ① The results of ICU severe infection group and normal control group showed that the levels of CD3 +, CD4 +, CD4 / CD8, CD19 + and CD16 + CD56 + in severe ICU infection group were significantly lower than those in normal control group (P <0.05 ), CD8 + no significant difference between the two groups; ② ICU severe infection group and mild infection group CD4 + difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), the other indicators of the two groups showed no significant difference. Conclusion Newborn infants with severe infection have disorder of humoral and humoral immunity. The detection of T lymphocyte subsets, B cells and NK cells is of great significance for the evaluation of immune function in neonates.
