4月8日18时18分,中交公路养护工程技术有限公司(下称中交养护)在北京揭牌成立,董事长杨俭存换上了一张新名片。三个月前,他从中交第二公路工程局(下称二公局)董事长岗位上退出。四十年来,他摸爬滚打在公路战线上并带领二公局从落后到先进,最终成为工程建设主力军,年产值逾205亿元。由二公局和中国公路学会共同投资成立的中交养护注册资金5000万元,在接受本刊采访时,杨俭存认真地说:“出任中交养护董事长对我是一个挑战!”这与外界所形容的“牛刀杀鸡”相去甚远,一句话,把这个新闻故事烘托得异常吸引人。
