血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)调控血管生长作用强、特异性高,在正常组织和肿瘤细胞中的表达差异显著;VEGF特异性受体也绝大部分只在内皮细胞表达。因此,VEGF及其受体就成为肿瘤治疗的理想靶点。通过抑制VEGF的释放、中和刚释放出的VEGF以及阻断VEGF与其受体的结合等途径,可以抑制肿瘤血管形成,达到治疗肿瘤的目的。
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) regulates the growth of blood vessels and has high specificity. The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is significantly different in normal tissues and tumor cells. The majority of VEGF-specific receptors are only expressed in endothelial cells. Therefore, VEGF and its receptors are ideal targets for cancer therapy. By inhibiting the release of VEGF, neutralizing the newly released VEGF, and blocking the binding of VEGF to its receptor, it can inhibit the formation of tumor blood vessels and achieve the purpose of treating tumors.
