在真空自耗电弧熔炼过程中,头部补缩期作为熔炼的最后操作阶段,补缩质量的好坏将直接影响到铸锭头部组织的好坏及切头量的多少,进而影响铸锭成材率的高低。利用DOE试验方法,将大规格钛及钛合金铸锭切头损失有效减小,并给出了影响因素,获得并验证了最优化的补缩工艺参数,减少了铸锭的切头损失。
