The advent of “vague linguistics” as the first monograph in this discipline gives readers the opportunity to systematically understand this subject. This paper evaluates the characteristics and contributions of “fuzzy linguistics” from the following five aspects: (1) new perspectives and sufficient arguments; (2) crafted and rigorous work style; (3) ) Chinese studies, to fill gaps; (5) enlightenment mind, triggering discussions.
