帕尔默文化语言学理论是一种以意象为中心的语言文化理论,其核心概念是意象。《红楼梦》诗词含有丰富的意象,蕴藏着深厚的文化内涵。本文拟从帕尔默文化语言学视角分析《红楼梦·咏菊》一诗的两个英译本,探讨如何更好地实现诗歌翻译的意象再造。
Palmer’s theory of cultural linguistics is an image-centered linguistic and cultural theory whose core concept is imagery. The poems of A Dream of Red Mansions contain rich images and contain profound cultural connotations. This article intends to analyze two English versions of the poem “Wing Lou Meng · Ju Ju” from the perspective of Palmer’s cultural linguistics and discuss how to better reconstruct the image of poetry translation.
