冬至(Winter Solstice),是我国农历中一个非常重要的节气,也是中华民族的一个传统节日,冬至俗称“冬节”、“长至节”、“亚岁”等,早在2500多年前的春秋时代,我国就已经用土圭观测太阳,测定出了冬至,它是24节气中最早制订出的一个,时间在每年的阳历12月21日至23日之间,这一天是北半球全年中白天最短、夜晚最长的一天。
Winter Solstice is a very important solar term in the Chinese lunar calendar. It is also a traditional festival for the Chinese nation. The winter solstice is commonly known as “Winter Festival”, “Long Day”, “Asian Year”, etc. In the Spring and Autumn Period of more than 2500 years ago, our country had already observed the sun with Tugu and determined the winter solstice. It was the earliest one of the 24 solar terms, and the time was between December 21 and December 23, the annual solar calendar. The shortest daytime in the northern hemisphere throughout the year and the longest day in the night.
