本文分析了范畴化理论和英语词汇教学,指出英语教师可将范畴化理论应用到英语词汇教学中:(1)在英语课堂中,教师应该对英语词汇给予更多的直接教学,设计更多以词汇为中心的教学活动。(2)教师应该强调基本范畴词语。(3)教师应注意语意聚合和语意切分。(4)教师应强调隐喻意义教学。
This paper analyzes the theory of categorization and English vocabulary teaching, pointing out that English teachers can apply categorization theory to English vocabulary teaching: (1) In the English classroom, teachers should give more direct instruction to English vocabulary and design more Vocabulary as the center of teaching activities. (2) Teachers should emphasize the basic categories of words. (3) teachers should pay attention to semantic aggregation and semantic segmentation. (4) Teachers should emphasize metaphorical teaching.
