以引种栽培的习水报春为试验材料,通过模拟习水报春原产地生长环境进行引种栽培,分别在1、4、7、10月份中的22日对引种栽培的习水报春萌发产生叶和新植株进行统计,测量叶的长度(含叶柄和叶片)及个数,研究引种栽培对习水报春萌发更新的影响。结果表明:习水报春在4个季节均能萌发新叶和幼苗,但在春、夏两季萌发新叶的数量及生长的速度相对较快,3月和4月萌发幼苗的株数较多,8月和9月萌发幼苗的株数次之。在气候类型、降雨量、温湿度之间差异不大的情况下,通过模拟习水报春原产地生长环境,能够引种栽培成活并萌发更新。
