超级电脑 目前,世界上至少有10多个国际性大机构在研制下一代高效率的电脑。如美、日、英等国家的科研人员,正在研制一种超级电脑。它拥有现代电脑100倍的速度和存储能力,能够模拟若干最复杂的自然现象(如暴风的形成),预测将来10年甚至100年以内的世界气候等,威力非凡。 光子电脑 这是以光子代替电子、光互连代替导线互连的全光数字电脑。同时,以光硬件代替了电子硬件、光运算代替了电运算,其运算速度可比普通电脑快1000倍,功率也为普通电脑望尘莫及。
Supercomputers At present, at least more than 10 international organizations in the world are developing the next generation of highly efficient computers. Researchers such as the United States, Japan, and Britain are developing a supercomputer. It has 100 times the speed and storage capacity of modern computers, capable of simulating some of the most complex natural phenomena (such as the formation of storms), predicting the world climate in the next 10 or even 100 years, and so on. Photonic computer This is an all-optical digital computer that uses photonics instead of electronics and optical interconnects instead of wire interconnections. Its computing speed is 1,000 times faster than that of ordinary computers, and power is also far behind that of ordinary computers.
