《现代汉语词典》中诠释:“声音是由物体振动而发出的波通过听觉所产生的印象”。“声波是能引起听觉的振动波,频率在20~20000赫兹之间……”。人民教育出版社,1964年版,福里斯等著、梁宝洪译的《普通物理学》第一卷中释:“频率大约在每秒20次到20000次之间的振动到达我们的听觉器官(耳朵)后,能引起声音的感觉”。显然,声音和声波是两个完全不同的概念。声波传到耳中才能有声音的感觉、声波是客观存在的,声音则是一种感觉,但在一些普及性读物、物理
