Located on the Java island near Jakarta, it is the first to be special for the International Telecommunications Satellite System III. The signal is received by an antenna of 27 meters in diameter, amplified by a low-noise parametric amplifier placed directly behind the antenna-based inverter, and the rear-path tunneling diode is then amplified and sent to the control room. Down to 70 MHz, separated from each other by their respective directions. The transmitted baseband is collected in different locations and sent to the earth station via microwave lines. In the station, the baseband modulates a 70 MHz carrier and then upconverts to a frequency in the 6 GHz band. The traveling wave tube amplifier feeds this signal to the antenna at a level of 2 kilowatts. The complete test equipment includes a satellite simulator and comb-noise detector, as well as microwaves, communications and general measurement devices. The station has met or exceeded the technical requirements set by CCIR.
