Hypertension is a polygenic disease with a heritability of 62-81%. Genetic factors play a major role in the pathogenesis of hypertension. In order to explore the fingerprint of patients with essential hypertension and its clinical significance, this article 50 patients with essential hypertension, and the same number of normal people do comparative analysis. Found that patients with essential hypertension have the following characteristics: (1) men have abnormal fingerprints both hands are distributed, but mainly to the left hand, 4, 5 anti-Kei frequency of 8%, much higher than normal 0.1 ~ 1%; (2) The incidence of odd bucket-shaped fingerprints was 61.9%, which was significantly different from that of the control group (36.8%) (P <0.05) (P <0.05), the left hand 5 fingers (P <0.05), the right hand middle finger
