In the context of a global market with tremendous competitive pressures and cost pressures and a shortened development cycle, the distribution of product development processes is an extraordinary measure to address complex, volatile and therefore risk-taking value creation processes. These steps must be goal-oriented and results-oriented, and can be used by participants in the development process. A very effective way is to apply a process-oriented process. The parallel application of concurrent engineering and project management introduced in this paper incorporates this approach and its growing assortment of supporting information and communications technologies that integrate the product development process distributed in place and in time. At this point, development teams with highly responsible and interdisciplinary teams play a key role in all activities. In order to carry out such a project, there is a need for expanded, high-performance and flexible planning techniques.
