Monolithic alluvial gold deposits are usually located above and below the surface of the rock, which is almost the same throughout the world. This phenomenon is generally recognized as a basic rule of alluvial gold mineralization. In the folk gold-mining industry, the close relationship between the sediment and the gold accumulation is especially valued by people. Among the folk gold-diggers in various parts of China, many proverbs about the importance of sand-rock deposits are widely circulated. For example, there are “northeast gold rush in the end, take two white bucket rice”; Jiangnan area “gold rush to see the board, died not closed eyes,” and so on. In the historic gold-mining industry in Heilongjiang Province, it is more of a matter of “going to the charter” to find out more about bedrock. All this fully shows that the gold diggers regard the exposure of the real rock as a key issue in the exploration and mining of gold. These brilliant lessons learned, indeed, captured the main points of exploration and exploration of gold, it is worth our consideration and reference.
