Fe-36% Ni alloy (Invar alloy) is often due to grain boundary oxidation during the thermal processing rupture, so hot deformation rate and alloy S content on thermal cracking. The results show that: (1) When the alloy is hot-worked at low deformation rate, hot cracking occurs easily below 1100 ℃, and the range of thermal cracking increases with increasing S content. (2)
