从今年1月1日起,人民日报要扩至12版,还要出版华东版。扩版,不是单纯版面数量的增加,主要是质量的提高。我们要以扩版为契机,按照党中央提出的把人民日报办得高出一筹的要求,努力改进工作,争取在6个方面有所进步: (一)在把握全局上有所进步。坚持正确的舆论导向,首先要求报纸时刻站在全局的高度,对形势做出正确的判断,因此必须在加强调查研究上下功夫。一年之内,应当抓住几个关系全局的重大问题进行深入、系统的专题报道,并经常敏锐地从大量看似平常的现象中捕捉住那些关系全局的苗头、倾向,及时地进行舆论引导。 From January 1 this year, People’s Daily to expand to 12 version, but also publishing the East China Edition.
